Heroes of Phyrria Rules:
Disclaimer:
I do not own Wings of Fire. That goes to Tui T. Sutherland. To maintain her rights i ask that you do not use the dragonets in roleplay. This site takes place long after the dragonets.
Respect:
Any good role play site is founded on respect. The staff will respect you, and in return we expect respect. (Hehe it kind of rhymes) expect your fellow members and be polite. If you have a disagreement, please stay calm and keep your cool. If you can't do that: take a break to cool down. If you disobey this rule, a staffer will warn you. If you do so again we will have to temporarily ban you from the site. If worse comes to worst, your account will be deleted.
Accounts:
Please have only one account per user. It's easier to keep track of, and all your characters should be played in that account only.
Signatures & Avatars:
Rely, I don't care much, just don't make them huge. And also, no offensive or political content. That should be basic stuff we all know anyway.
Posting:
We have a word count. But for the sake of those newbies, I will make the count be 50. If you like long posts, please, write away! But we must ask, that when you roleplay, come to an appropriate length: so if one person writes the bare minimum and the other user writes four paragraphs, you guys both need to either step it up, or tone it down until you come to a median. (If that doesn't make sense to you, just post.)
Tagging:
Tagging is used to "bump" another layer, or tell a member which thread you are including them in. @username
Time:
Here in the world of Phyrria, Liquid time does not exist. So please, your character cannot be in two different threads at the same time.
Breeds/Species:
Well this is obvious, but here are the appropriate species: RainWing, MudWing, IceWing, NightWing, SkyWing, SeaWing, and SandWing. Hybrids are possible but I must ask that you refrain from making such a character until you have 3 -or more-stars.
Man:
They are the Scavengers. If you would like to have a scavenger in your plot ask the admin -moi- for one through a PM with the following template:
Human Name:
Dragon Name:
Gender:
Appearance:
Personality:
-keep in mind that the humans do not speak dragon and only use actions. Because of this I will permit the use of this format when playing scavengers:
*waves arms in the air and squeaks wildly*-
Fights:
You, as the members can choose the outcome if you like. Though if you prefer to have a surprise that's more realistic, the staff will mod it accordingly.
•Choosing the outcome: Staff member will mod the fight but dictate it towards the desired outcome(because members can change their minds easily)
•Random outcome: Staff member will take into account the builds and personalities of each wolf participating and mod the fight accordingly.
Yes: Bob jumped at Steve wings unfurled, teeth bared, poisonous barb aiming for his opponents neck.
No: Bob jumped at Steve wings unfurled, poisonous barb slashing into the other dragons neck and killing him.
Hunting:
Unlike some other roleplay sites, we are playing dragons. So when hunting it is very easy and care free. Because hunting is fairly nonchalant for dragons you can hunt any where and anything without the aid of a moderator.
Breeding:
A pair of Dragons may have a brood of eggs in any season, although it is suggested to breed in spring or summer to avoid complications.
To breed two dragons, simply read the Breeding Form thread in the breeding board and follow the provided template.
There may be complications, which more likely when lone dragons have a brood. Loner dragons and dragons in roaming, nomadic groups will produce smaller, possibly less healthy dragonets than tribe dwelling dragons with territory.
It is up to the player of the parents who takes which dragonets to play.
If neither of you are able to take all of them, you can put the remainder up in the Adoption board for other players to take.
No graphic mating.
